“It hurts to let go. Sometimes it seems the harder you try to hold on to something or someone the more it wants to get away. You feel like some kind of criminal for having felt, for having wanted. For having wanted to be wanted. It confuses you, because you think that your feelings were wrong and it makes you feel so small because it’s so hard to keep it inside when you let it out and it doesn’t come back. You’re left so alone that you can’t explain.”—(via annnielo)
“When you wake up, think about winning the day. Don’t worry about a week or a month from now — just think about one day at a time. If you are worried about the mountain in the distance, you might trip over the molehill right in front of you.”—Drew Brees (via ophuongifer)
Its nice to see a lot of familiar faces and getting to hang out with them. My classes for this semester are good. It’s a nice balance than it was last semester. Last week was the first time I commuted to college and I must say it is completely different from dorming. No sleeping in, cruising, and hanging out with friends. But I do like commuting because it keeps me on check with my priorities. This semester, already will be the most interesting one yet. From the new COP students and new friends the atmosphere in UH is different. But I like it. I feel like there is so much building up and important events. Intramural Basketball, Timpoyog Dramafest, Katipunan Songfest, etc..Besides that i know the importance of this year means ..When it comes to my goal for this semester, I honestly expect the best. Its A’s or Bust for me. I don’t expect anything less because I know I can do it. Anyone can. Bye to the first week and hello to week two.
“You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could’ve, would’ve happened… or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move on.”—Tupac Shakur (via onlinecounsellingcollege)
“When you meet the right person, you know it. You can’t stop thinking about them. They’re your best friend and your soul mate. You can’t wait to spend the rest of your life with them. No one, and nothing else can compare.”—How I Met Your Mother, “Tick Tick Tick” (S7E10)
School is in three days and I can already imagine it being different. It did a year a go and a year before that. Though things have change, each year in college brought new adventures and challenges; I’m excited for what awaits me this time. Who knows what can happen. Maybe things will pick up where they left off, or maybe, a new chapter is about to unfold. Whatever happens, I know I will be heading into another great year. I’m ready for the transition.
